‘Rising to the Challenge’ inquiry

In the wake of the Spending Review and the Government’s announcements on the size of the Single Local Growth Fund, the APPG on Local Growth and LEPs is inviting evidence from all interested parties on three themes: the evolution of LEPs, LEPs and value for money and LEPs’ capacity for local political leadership, particularly in bringing local authorities together across boundaries. The call for evidence is attached and written evidence is requested by 19^th July 2013 (contact us if this presents difficulties).

Previous reports have secured national media coverage and been well received by Ministers.
